Quiet and peaceful
We were camped at site #50 at the Otter Creek camping area. The site was level. There was something wrong with the electric. We were only running at 104 volts instead of 120V. We contacted the Park Manager and they were quick to come out with the maintenance man. Unfortunately, they weren't very knowledgeable on how to fix it. Fortunately my husband is an electrician and assisted them on fixing the problem. Must have been a major issue. I saw a few other camp sites that were having the same problem as us

Just ok
Yes, store/gift shop was closed during our 4 night visit. Parking pad was nice level concrete with adequate water and electric. The hiking trails is a different story. I understand that there are issues such as funding impacting the park system but these trails were dismal. Most were very poorly marked and many sections were overgrown with heavy grass. A positive was that the park and restrooms were clean and appeared to be well cared for.

decent park and lake
This is a very nice well kept park. Very good place to fish and camp. Nice and quiet too. However, there are 2 bathroom buildings, and there is no longer a store here. You have to go back to the towns to eat, get groceries, gas, and fishing supplies.
