Stunning Views
The Mountain glistens as you approach it. The climb up the stairs is somewhat steep "there are benches along the way" but the last 10ft to the top in is a little rugged as the stairs end. Once at the top the view for miles is beautiful in all directions. The landscape is great for pictures and is very relaxing. As you hike you'll see a lot of native plant life and animals including vultures and lizards. Across the far edge of the trail there is a bench set up for you just take in the views. I really enjoyed it, it's not very difficult to find or climb and is well worth it. I reccomend spending at least 2hrs here. There is vending at the parking lot with permanent portapotty style restrooms if needed.

Beautiful Oklahoma Views
I’d heard about this place for years so I was excited when I finally got to go recently. Beautiful views at the top. Take a bottle of water because depending on the weather & time of day it will be scorching at the top. Nice little hike once you get to the top. Beware of wildlife mainly rattlesnakes, luckily I didn’t see or hear any. There are stairs and climbing but there are benches along the way if you need to rest, even a picnic table if you want to pack a lunch. About 5-6 feet from the top the stairs end so it’s a short rough climb if you’re inexperienced, but if I can make it anyone can. Several people had their large strong dogs with them that liked to hike. There are bathrooms at the bottom in the parking area. Nice spot to stop or a little day trip ??

Really cool Mesa's
We stopped by the state park to get a view of a very beautiful line of mesa's that extend for miles. We were able to hike to the top of them, look around, take pictures, spend the whole day enjoying ourselves. It is a great place for outdoor activity, taking your friends on an outing, and enjoying time with family, children, and pets.
