Friendly, clean and fun.
We visited Choctaw for the first time this year and were delighted. We have been back and enjoyed it. We were Winstar fans but it became greedy, the rooms and staff are more and more rude as well as odd smells in the hotel. The payouts were getting bad and the smokey casino is awful. We liked the security which does lack at Choctaw but we think they will get better with expansion. We want try Choctaw hotel but we are not sure due to the reviews we have received. None the less we will be visiting Choctaw more regularly. Coming for my Birthday on June 8th f the rooms are reasonable and available. Thanks Choctaw your staff is friendly and we found gluten free delicious pizza..that was awesome!!! Terri Jewell

Impressive
It's not Las Vegas -- though it is close. I admired the beauty and care put into the building. Although it is Las-Vegas sized, I found it still had the friendly feel of smaller casinos run by indigenous nations.

Day Trip
We drove up for the day and enjoyed our time there. Felt the casino was clean and observed workers cleaning machines while we were there. They have a non-smoking casino as well. Love the new electronic blackjack machine that allows you to play other games as well. There were not many tables open. High limits on those that were. No screen to protect the dealers and all seats were open. We wouldn't have played in that situation with COVID. Stayed several hours and will definitely visit again. They don't check temperatures but do require masks. Announcement played many times about wearing your mask correctly. Felt clean and safe. Not the same crowd as Winstar that hangs around and you have to worry about them. Nice day trip.
