AMAZING ASSET! Yet another FREE Stillwater activity!

I often visit family in Stillwater and have found great solace at Boomer Lake Park. Whether you're a jogger or walker, you will find beautiful sites on the nearly 3-mile perimeter loop. People-watching breaks the rhythm on those hard runs or walks, and the gulls will cry out if you step too close to one of the picturesque points. Benches, pavilions, and playgrounds abound; there's even a kids' water park for those hot Oklahoma days. DO NOT MISS!!!

    Very Nice Park!
    It is a good place for running and walking activities. the views around the lake are amazing. and you might even see the geese flying over it or swimming in the lake.

    Nice place to walk or picnic
    Boomer Lake provides a nice place to walk, run, ride, etc. The new splash pad is very popular, and there are always disc golfers out. There's not a lot of variation available, just a 5k paved path around the lake, but it winds in and out of trees, a few bridges, and a few rest stops along the way. Unfortunately, any time there is open water, there are geese -- and goose poop all over the sidewalks.
