A pleasant getaway

The campground is small and wasn't even half full during our visit, which made it extra nice. Camp site was easy to back into. Nice bite of the lake. Bathrooms are as expected at a state park; not great, not terrible. No one checked to confirm our reservation, and it seemed that people freely came and went, mostly to use the restrooms. My only hesitation about returning is the traffic noise from the adjacent highway.

    Great Time.
    We arrived at the campground after dark and were unfamiliar with the layout and found the campground host by his campfire. He politely escorted us to our spot (very much appreciated) and the next day got firewood from him as well. This guy is a great ambassador for our state! The campground was clean and the bath houses were well kept given the busy holiday weekend and the noise was kept to a minimum after hours. This is a great place to camp and enjoy the lake from the shoreline.

    Pretty spot
    Nice little campground on the Grand Lake. A little tricky to find but worth the drive. We only stayed one night but if lived closer would probably be a favorite to go back to for a longer stay. Sites are a nice size. Bathrooms adequate but not the cleanest. Typical for sate parks only water and electric but dump site available.
