Fantastic fishing fun! Caught plenty of fish!

If your travels take you anywhere near southern Oklahoma or northern Texas, and if you enjoy a great day of fishing, then this is for you. Chuck Shannon and The Bearded Dog fishing guide service did a fantastic job of getting us on the fish early. Starting out just before sunrise on the massive Lake Texoma on the Red River, we were catching fish in no time and filled the box with our limit of stripers quickly. In addition to stripers, a few black drum and some nice catfish added to the fun. The guide service provided the boat, guide, gear, and bait. All we had to do was catch the fish…which we handily did! Back at the dock by mid-morning, Chuck and his son busied themselves cleaning and bagging the filets, but not before the requisite photos of our bounty. It’s time for a fish fry!
