Fun Route 66 history
I am glad I stopped to find this statue. Very nice and the little town of Foyil is rather an interesting drive around as well. I can not imagine they would have a foot race almost the distance of the entire Route... They did and this was the winner.

Quick stop on 66
Just a quick stop on 66 to see the statue of the winner of the Bunion Derby in 1929,3423 miles in 84 day. My girl friend is a runner so she enjoyed it and just some good history of our country and Route 66.
