熱帯魚
本当にたくさんの熱帯魚が見られます。 岩場なのでスニーカーが良いです。 日差しが強いため熱中症に注意です。 レンタカーで行くと楽です。 There is so many fish in tide pool. This area is rocky place, so you should wear clogs or sneakers. And there are no shade, so be careful for heatstroke.

Worthy a visit
Actually referred to as Tropical Fish Pools in the road signs, it is merely a place where the low tide leaves a lot of different sizes natural pools where you can easily see many fish. This is a very rocky area, so closed water shoes are highly recommendable. Be very careful where you step your feet. This area is also very popular for fishing, of course. A disappointing note is how dirty (rubbish, mainly) some areas are. I did not expect that in Japan. But it is overall nice to see and worthy a visit if you are in Kumejima, as there are not many attractions to see in the island, but something similar can be seen at a smaller scale for instance east of Tatami-Ishi, in Ojima, less rocky and less dangerous. If you go by car, please note that the parking is really small (3-4 cars with difficult manouvering anyway).
