Great visit
We really enjoyed our visit here. This is truly a beautiful building. It's in excellent condition. Our docent was new (she said it was her 4th tour), and did an excellent job. We really enjoyed hearing the stories of the building and the people who lived there. If you're interested in historical buildings, this is definitely worth a visit.

Great visit

Beautiful home interesting histiry
It was funny how many people wanted to see this place over Labor Day. That says something for it. The house and gardens are extremely well kept. I love historical homes. The docent was very good. They were able to rebuy the lost family heirlooms (well some of them) so there are a lot of things of interest inside and it covers a handful of families owning it over the years. It was an hour well spent.
