    Nice zoo
We went in November to the zoo and really enjoyed their beautiful Christmas lights. It wasn't as crowded. But a lot of the attractions we're closed for the season and some of the animals were not able to be seen. It was still well worth seeing. It's a very large zoo I recommend at least two days to try to see it all especially during warmer weather.

    Purchased item part lost
Although a lot of the zoo was closed due to decrease in temperature and the bird flu, they still had boo at the zoo with candy for the kids. A lot of animals that are usually not active were, such as the Mexican wolves, exotic cat, and various other animals. They had a hay bale maze. My nephew was running around the maze in the dark and lost the bottom piece of his bubble sword, which I purchased earlier in the day. Two security guard and the head of the west park (Mr. E) helped us search with flashlights, but it was pitch black at 5 minutes until 8 pm. We returned back to where we purchased the bubble sword, and the worker who sold it to us provided a new, but different colored bubble holder for the sword. Overall, the workers that we came across were very professional and polite. I will definitely come back to the zoo.
