    A Great Collection of Rollercoasters
I visited Cedar Point on a trip with a group of friends. The park is exciting. They have a great collection of rollercoasters. If you enjoy coasters you will like this park. The park is laid out in a pretty straightforward manner and rides are not hard to find. The staff for loading rides were professional. The lines for popular rollercoasters can be very long. Be prepared to wait in line a lot in the heat. Also, you will want to hydrate. Concessions are very expensive. That is true about food and beverages. Expect to pay 2 to 3 times restaurant prices and up to 10 times more than you would pay for the same bottle of water at a grocery store. This is not unusual for an amusement park. The quality of the food I had was average. It was good enough, but nothing was outstanding. I really enjoyed Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, and the Gatekeeper rollercoasters. They are very intense rides, but I enjoyed them. They do have smaller, milder coasters as well. Some were a bit uncomfortable. The corkscrew is a much older milder coaster, but the seat was uncomfortable and it was very bumpy. It was not a pleasant experience. I did enjoy the Gemini. It is a bit bumpier than the newer coasters, but it was enjoyable. I enjoyed my visit to Cedar Point.

Not Thrilled by the Thrill Rides but that's my issue, Cedar Point truly offers a lot for those who aren't faint of heart
Overall good experience but I feel the need to clarify some things for people who might be purchasing the bundles. I bought the Max Bundle for approximately $100. This included the premium meal plan with drinks, a ticket, parking, access to the lounge, and the photo pass. First off, I think this was a good value especially if you were planning on spending and entire day at the park, however as far as the food goes be aware that not everything on the menus in the various places is part of the deal. We at at Chickie and Pete's and I believe there were 5 items to choose from. Happily I got the cheesesteak which was on the list and was very good. I also want to say with the heat on July 4th it was fantastic to have the drink add on with this bundle and we definitely took advantage of it. Here is where some of the issues start. The photo pass is only worth it if you are planning on going on the biggest, fastest and more famous rides. We didn't manage to get a single photo during our day. It states that there will be people walking around taking photos, there were not. I even went on the Iron Dragon Roller Coaster in the hopes of getting a photo but that wasn't daring enough. For me it was actually too daring and it just made me sick. Kudos to the Cedar Point First Aide team who gave me a Dramamine which allowed me to feel well enough to drive home. In any event I would skip the photo thing, totally not worth it. I had no intention of using the lounge but after coming off the ride that made me sick, the lounge proved to be a blessing. Was able to collect myself and make my way to first aide. If you are a thrill ride person Cedar Point can't be beat, but I am not and I would have been better off trying the tamer things. It is my own fault I was sick after the ride but I was really disappointed in the photos. Just wanted to make people aware who might want to capture a special event. This was my wife's first time at Cedar Point and I hoped to capture some memories.
