    A Bible Museum with Intedrity
Well researched and displayed. This museum has integrity and a sound theological base. Even serious students of the Bible and church history will find it informative and inspiring, unlike the gaudy and off-putting Creation Museum in Kentucky. The museum offers several self-guided tours and one can spend 3 hours or just an hour there. Plus there are odd Bible paraphernalia from across the globe. Don’t be put off by the bleached out silk flowers and older carpeting. . . This museum is well worth stopping in.

    A Walk Through the Bible
Biblewalk is a life sized wax museum, the only one in the state of Ohio. It is located on the grounds of a non-denominational church (Diamond Hill Cathedral) in Mansfield. Four tours are offered. They are 1) The Life of Christ 2) Miracles of the Old Testament 3) Heroes of the Reformation and 4) Christian Martyrs. Each narrated tour takes you through various scenes, each lasting 2-3 minutes. It takes about 3 hours to cover all four tours. The Life of Christ covers many key events in His life from His Virgin Birth to His resurrection and ascension. Miracles of the Old Testament covers major Old Testament events, although not all the scenes were strictly miracles but important events nonetheless. Christian Martyrs teaches you about those who have given their lives for the faith. The Reformation is about the reformers who broke away from the Catholic Church. There were a couple of scenes that were a little bizarre. In the scene on the final judgment, they played a recording of people suffering in hell. The tour guide informed us that this was allegedly an actual recording taken from the center of the Earth and that scientists believed it was the voices of people in hell. I'm not sure who these scientists are and as far as I know, no one has been able to get anywhere near the center of the Earth. There was also a reference to the world being created in 4004 B.C. which is difficult to believe when there is evidence of cultures in existence before then. Finally, there was a painting of Noah's Ark, featuring a wide variety of animals. My daughter (6 years old) noticed a dinosaur in the painting and pointed out that was impossible because the last dinosaur died 65 million years ago whereas Noah's flood happened tens of thousands of years ago. They even identified it as a Jurassic Allosaurus which was funny considering they don't recognize the Jurassic era. These issues were minor however. There were 70 total scenes and they were for the most part well done and informative. The narration was interesting and the people were friendly. Overall, I felt the tour was worthwhile and a good place to take the kids to teach them about the Bible.
