Very pretty at Christmas, they do a huge display and even have Santa come visit on weekend nights, other times during the year I am not so sure about my review will only be about December

    Safe in the day, but stay away at night
    Its a good place to exercise or walk you dog, but around sunset sleazy characters meet for possible drug deals. Don't go alone and keep your phone with you. Its greener than other parks.

    Christmas Theme
    mckinney park is nice to place to view during the Christmas season. Tranquility it has to offer in Odessa during that time of the season.. The city decorates the park every holiday season and it a time honred tradition of the city that you can see from the interstate.
