Oak Ridge Playhouse, Tennessee, United States

4.5 (11 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #8 in Oak Ridge Theaters

Sorry we haven't been there sooner

We lived and worked for several years in Oak Ridge but never attended a play at the playhouse. A friend suggested we get tickets to go see the play, "All Shook Up" which is based on Elvis Presley's music. My husband doesn't like plays, especially musicals, but even he enjoyed himself. We were there the first night the play opened and the actors were great, very professional and entertaining. If you get a chance, go see a play and give your support to this historic theater.

    Great
I experienced the Oak Ridge Playhouse as an actor multiple times and as an audience member multiple times as well and every play has me coming back for more!

    Very Pleasant Evening
A group of red hat ladies recently visited the Oak Ridge Playhouse. I had been to the play house before, but it had been a couple of years. The play house is unique to the city of Oak Ridge in that it is in the historic area of Jackson Square. The exterior and interior of the play house has pretty much remained the same. It is unique and charming. The characters in the play were very talented and I enjoyed it immensely. The venue changes every month or so so you need to check ahead to see what will be on the schedule. The price was very reasonable. When you entered the play house there was a place where you could purchase beer and or wine and also snacks. The restroom was clean and well taken care of. I will continue to watch to see what plays again and will definitely return.
