Drive by just to see this breautiful historical house
The society is housed in the Fred Holland Day house which is just a beautiful old home on the hill. It's well maintained and worth a drive by or even a tour if you're in the area and are into historical homes.

The hidden gem in Norwood, MA
Touring the Fred Holland Day house, owned by the Norwood Historical society is educational and entertaining. See how this famous man lived in the early 1900's gives an insight into the local life in the community and the culture of the times in industrial Norwood. Well worth the tour

Since we live in Vermont, and time is limited when visiting Norwood family, we have attended only one lecture.
Norwood is a Boston suburb with LOTS of history, and assimilation of immigrants in its background. Our daughter-in-law has been active with this organization, and has been fascinated by the historical work it has done.
