A very beautiful palace
The Yusupov Palace is a unique architectural ensemble of styles from the XVIII to XX century. Cultural monument acclaimed as an "encyclopedia" of St. Petersburg aristocratic interiors. The palace and manor complex were built over two centuries and features the work of prominent Russian and foreign architects. Today the Yusupov Palace is one of the few aristocratic mansions where you can experience ambiance of luxurious life of the Yusupov family. The astonishingly beautiful interiors, restored with the work and talent of St. Petersburg's restoration artists, welcome everyone.

Private residence of one of the richest families in Russia
The visit to Yusupov Palace was as part of our 2 day Alla Tour during our cruise of the Baltic. The palace was the former private residence of one of the richest families of Russia of that time. The interior is beautifully designed. The Rasputin Exposition made of wax depicts his murder in the palace in 1916. Very interesting history!

Lovely Palace and the killing place of Rasputin
Lovely Palace and the killing place of Rasputin This place is so different as it's a working building, there are people working the building or the state and this makes it very eerie, and you can feel some tension. the building is so big and the concert hall inside in amazing, then the spiral staircase to the room where Rasputin was killed and the staircase, he climbed up to escape to the river is fascinating. Very surreal.
