Snowfall adds to Beauty
Yes, I visited in Nov 2019 and it was a cold morning and was snowing. When we reached there, it was already covered in a thin layer of fluffy snow giving a whitish cover all around. It smelled fresh and looked beautiful.

The Nucleus of the City!
The creation of the city of Saint Petersburg was a daring feat. This fortress is located on an island which was the nucleus of the future city. It was designed as a closed rampart consisting of bastions and curtains. The main building within the fortress is the Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, the imperial burial-vault. The Peter and Paul Fortress is a must-see in Saint Petersburg.
