Large and beautiful
A large open area with the state hermitage museum on one side. Go there in the evening when you will find some artists playing music or singing or showing some other skills. Very beautiful place. From there you can walk to the famous Nevsky Prospekt road.

Unreal!
Ive never seen anything so spectacular! I was in absolute awe! watch out for the people dressed in animal costumes, they will try hustle some rubles off you. Fortunately I had experienced them in other tourist spots so I knew to just say, 'no thanks', other than that this site is not to be missed. Beautiful!
