Beautiful, new, and with English information!
I loved this museum! They did a lovely job with arranging all the items in the museum- cool mannequin displays, neat pull-out glass drawers containing lace pieces. Additionally, there was a lot of English on the walls and info plaques. Plus the whole place is beautiful: light wood floors, pale lavender walls, and crystal chandeliers. I was so impressed. The best part was that entrance was free for students provided you show a student card. The only negative is that the gift shop was lacking in selection. I really wanted to buy something small and portable (and cheap) but there wasn't anything like that available. So instead I went to a little souvenir store just out the museum and to the right inside the kremlin.

Interesting
Provides examples of a range of styles of lace. There are various items on display from clothing to towels and table cloths. Some of the items are very beautiful. Information is provided in English about techniques and the history of lace in Russia.
