Beautiful lake and park
This lake and the park around it are located near the city center. Extensive lawns and park benches give you the opportunity to stop for a picnic and enjoy the beauty of the lake. You can take a swim on the sandy beach. Valkeisenlampi is a free fishing area. The park also features a bust of Alexander Pushkin and a female sculpture named Springtime.

Beautiful lake in the middle of Kuopio
Valkeisenlampi is near the Kuopio theatre. Its a beautiful place for an afternoon stroll. There is a children's playground and a small beach for a swim during the summer. Its peaceful and quet place surrounded by Niirala old wooden buildings

This is garden for the soul - dogs and people of all age
No matter what the season is, there is always something beautiful to see, smell, feel. Beautiful haven. The only negative side are the occasional drunks- Boo!
