We where driving there and the view was great. You van also walk or cycle there. I regommend this. There is place to buy ice cream.

Modern Kuopio
This is worth driving. It shows how Kuopio city has managed to build interesting infrastructure, and how the city's officials have enabled growth of population by building new residential areas alongside with architecturally interesting infrastructure. Take your own car.

The most beautiful road in Finland
This absolutely the most beautiful road in Finland. It starts from little out of the city of Kuopio and it continues all the way to Petonen area. It goes via beautiful lakes and islands. It looks gorgeous in summer and also in winter.
