Big shopping mall without big amount of peole
A great shopping centre and biggest in the area. It has all the great shops including my personal favourites H&M Home and Iittala Outlet. This is why I stop there almost everytime time when visiting Kuopio. Good selection of restaurants and compared to shopping centres in the capital area of Finland, I have never seen a rush hour in Matkus. So the most part I love to shop there, that if you go on weekdays, it is basically empty, no need to queue! Ikea is a plus if you need something from there and now there's a grocery store as well, so you really don't need any other shopping facilities in Kuopio. Lot's of free parking space (all outdoors), and also accessible by public transport.

Multiple stores alongside Ikea
Ikea Kuopio is situated here. Half of the building is Ikea and other half other shops and restaurants/cafes. You can find here everything from bookshelves to clothes and food.

Loads of shops, something for everyone!
I like shopping at Matkus. It is nice to have all the shops under the same roof, with nice eating places and big grocery store and even IKEA. There is definitely something for everyone!
