great surprise!
Very nice museum. We learned so much and understood very well the history of the portuguese people relation with codfish. The codfish aquarium is simple but great. One can learn also about history on boats and fishing boats from Aveiro and Portugal. I recommend visiting.

Interesting approach of the art of fishing
Good historical setting on Portuguese codfish fishing, nice boat replics and a curious water tank with living codfish. Has a real fishing trawler as an extension of the museum

Nice museum!!
This museum is very informative and interesting. The portuguese codfish fishing is the main subject of the museum, with boats, fishing stuff, navigation instruments, nautic maps, etc. The new codfish aquarium is a "must". Very nice! It is not a big museum, so it is possble to visit it in a short time. It deserves a visit.
