Cheap and easy access
We rented skiing gear and later went back for snowmobiles. Miko is the chatting type and will give you nice tips on where/when to go and what to do around Ruka - the advice alone can be worth the visit! Good gear, and we were told that if after skiing we felt we needed more advanced skis we were welcome to come in and choose something else. Cheaper than the stores close to the slopes too. Big selection of snowmobiles and provided waterproof map, gloves, helmet, overalls and phone number in case we got lost - it is Lapland after all. Felt like an adventure, go rent a snowmobile and upgrade your vacation!

Excellent service, reasonable rates
If you have a car, I'd recommend you to rent your gear in this shop, which is located close to the S-market and ABC- and Neste -petrol stations. They offer very good personal service and offer rates some 30 per cent lower thant the competiotors by the slopes. They offer gear for skiing (all sorts), skii-doos and activities, too.
