Christmas visit

We have been here before but didn't go inside. This time we went in. The cathedral is beautiful, serene and we were lucky enough to hear a pianist who was superb as were the acoustics. We lit a candle for lost loved ones and sat a while just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and surroundings. Would love to hear the organ being played, I can imagine how fabulous it must sound. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful !
The Arctic Cathedral is a special and peaceful place. Outside the shape is unique and certainly impresses the visitor. The architecture is striking with the triangular design. The sun streaming through the stained glass, together with the lighting make the features stand out. The plain, clear glass at the other end accentuates the organ and pipes. The altar is simple yet majestic. The seats are so comfortable. A truly wonderful place so well worth visiting.

A stunning church
This church is a beautiful building to visit. It's about £5/6 to enter. When we arrived there was a funeral taking place so we came back later. It's peaceful inside and we just sat down in a pew and took it all in. A lady tourist started singing and the sound bounced around the building.
