Small and a bit overpriced aquarium but OK for rainy days
We visited this place only as a second option on a rainy day when outdoor activities must be cancelled. Not bad but we had been to several places like this before, much better ones, and there was really not much to do for almost 200 NOK/person, there was only a short (and not really interesting) movie, a nice giftshop, a couple of displays and small aquariums + a big aquarium for the seals, and a seal feeding session you could join during the day on scheduled times. And the feeding session, the highlight of the visit was actually only around 5-10 minutes in our case, not really fun or informative, as the afternoon session was full of people and they needed to divide us into two groups, and we were in the second group so the food for the seals was almost run out till that time :( The seals were nice and we also enjoyed a little aquarium where we could touch the polyps and starfishes, but that is all, we could finish the whole visit within approx. 45 minutes so I think the entrance fee is really overpriced. Good point that the entrance ticket is valid for the whole day so you can get out and go back to the feeding session later.

    Polaria Tromso
I visited Polaria in Tromso on 6th Feb 2020. The highlight is surely the 4 bearded seals. The feeding and training session of the seal that happens 2 or 3 times in a day pulls in major crowds. Its surely worth a watch. Other than that, there is a good collection of starfish on display. It is not a very large place but one can expect to spend couple of hours easily especially if you want to see the short films in the auditorium based on Svalbard wild life and the Northern lights.
