    Interesting display in modern surroundings
Nice family/solo outing, very close to Termas de Río Hondo, worth paying a visit to. Lovely vintage cars , some real icons in Argentinian Racing Cars history, all nicely displayed in modern premises. You can even have a look at the tracks from the seats in the top floor.

Representative collection of historic motorcycles at GP Moto track.
We took the La Union Bus($10 each, each way) from the Santiago del Estero Terminal for the 48 miles northwest to Termas de Rio Hondo Terminal. Here we taxied along the Rio Dulce, then along the dam for the 10 km drive west to the 3 mile GP Moto Circuito. We were disappointed to find everything closed but a kind policeman permitted us entry to the stands for photos. Discovering we were from the US, he escorted us into the Auto Museum to view the 2nd and 3rd floor motorcycle collection(all ground floor cars were removed to raise and tile a new floor). We saw prewar bikes, old Harley's, then 1969 on Japanese and European bikes, to modern racers. Lots of good photos in spite of the working crews, both inside and out readying the site for mid April opening.
