Quiet and beautiful

In a tour of monasteries, Secu should be visited without any doubts. The beauty of the nature, the quiet of the place, the general atmosphere are very special and is a pity not to experience it.

    Great landscape and history
    We drove from Neat Monastery to Secure. The landscape is spectacular. The monastery is small with high walls full of flowers. We enjoyed it very much although the monks are very cold towards visitors (noticed that in the previous visit a few years ago as well).

    Typical Romanian monastery
    One of the many beautiful monasteries that can be found in the northern part of Moldavia region. Not very tourist friendly but, still, some information in English is displayed. Also, the peace of the place and the beauty of the architecture and of the surrounding area needs no translation :-) They are very strict regarding the dress code. The women wearing pants will be given a robe at the entrance to cover themselves.
