Moinesti Jewish Cemetery, Northeast Romania, Romania
5.0 (5 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Bacau County Cemeteries
One of the biggest Jewish Cemeteries
You can reach the cemetery by turning directly off the Nicolae Sova public road, near another town attraction, Padurea cu Pini. The cemetery isn't open for the public, but the nearest neighbour has the key from the gates. He is very friendly and helpful and there is no entree fee.

Worth finding
They're restoring it by the looks which is good. We had trouble finding it. Yet, compared to the stacked and learning tombstones of Prague's Josefov Cemetery, this was in great shape. Looking old has its charm, but I'm happy to see its being taken care of now for the memory of the residents.

Hope !
Unfortunately, Jewish cemetery was in a bad condition when I have been there; but this year one foundation started to be involved so many monuments have been restored .
