Zentrum füer Internationale Lichtkunst Unna, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

4.5 (68 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Unna Speciality Museums

amazing!

A world class museum well hidden in an unremarkable German town. The museum is great and for modern art lovers (yes, they have Turrell and Kosuth and much more), but also for families with kids or those wanting to see something new. The instalations are beautifully arranged in an old brewery - what makes a great museum even more fantastic. The place is in my personal top 5 of the region.

    Perfect guide, fascinating exhibition
We had a perfect tour through the old basement of the brewery in Unna. Our guide let us experience the fantastic light art works by giving a very involved explication and asking us questions about what we felt while watching. The one and a half hour tour that we had is unforgetable. This is a must see.

Unusual and interesting museum... worth visiting!
Very interesting museum that only a few people think it's worth a visit... What a pity! It's not very big and, unfortunately, the guided tours are only in German (maybe booking some time in advance they offer other languages?). But the exhibiton is quite unusual and entertaining.
