Pleasant area for recreation
Artificial lake just 4 km from Borken linked with the city by a good bicycle path. Towards the west there is place for swimming. You can rent a boat at the boathouse and there is lots of space to picnic or even barbecue. When I was there in July it was not very crowded as the area is large and it was easy to find a quiet spot.
