    Trip back in time.
Interesting visit to this open-air museum. Large and hilly site, in an area of beautiful countryside, containing many reconstructed historical buildings and artefacts depicting rural life of the past. Most of the interiors of the buildings are open to viewing and give a fascinating insight into the conditions the original occupants lived under as well as providing examples of their skills and ingenuity. Free car parking opposite the site and a very reasonable adult entry price of 6 euros or 4 euros for German senior citizens. Young children have free entry. Well worth a trip to consider.

    Not really attractive!
This is a rather small open-air museum, situated on a slope and unsuitable for rollators and wheelchairs. Compared to other open-air museums, there is not so much to see here, demonstrations only take place to a limited extent. The privately run restaurant on the grounds does not have many seats and the choice of food is limited. I ordered chicken fricassee for € 14,90 and got a portion of rice with very little chicken that looked more like a pulled chicken. Much too expensive for lunch! The fact that one gets a parking place for free is to be mentioned positively.
