Educational and fun

I've been to the Heinrich Nixdorf Museum a few times and was never disappointed. It's not just educational, it's a lot of fun with many interactive displays and games. While it's all about technology you don't have to be tech-savvy to enjoy the experience. My understanding of technology goes as far as being able to use the microwave, yet I truly enjoyed every visit to the HNM.

    An Amazing Trek Through Time
This was an amazing day! It was a very informative and insightful tour around a wonderful collection of different technologies from the past up to the present day. As much as it is a must see for computer and technology students/lovers from everywhere, I as a biology student really enjoyed the museum and would really recommend it to everyone from different fields of interest to come and visit!!! It's also educational and interactive, so this would be a nice outing for families. Would definitely recommend everyone to take a look around!

Worth a trip, but needs updating
A pleasant, well presented museum of various computing tech over the years. Particularly enjoyed seeing the "enigma" machine and the working telephone exchange. Two areas for improvements 1. Most of the information is all in German. However, there are some exceptions (particularly the signs that say "do not touch"). Given. Some is o. German and English, why not everything? 2. The displays of phones, calculators, gadgets etc over the years are great. However, they seem to stop in the early to mid 2000's. Why not update and being totally up to date (the admin office seems to have state of the art 24 inch Apple Macs) so why not the displays. Still worth a visit though.
