Cross country ski
Booked cross county ski but due to lack of fresh snow on the trails we did a ski across the frozen lake which was a nice experience. Guide was helpful and also offered us a hike on Ukko- Koli hill as we had to cut the ski short due to the high winds. The day before our activity we were offered a set lunch in their private cabin in the woods and then this was not available on the day and they did not inform us which was a little disappointing. Overall the activity was great and staff very friendly,safe and helpful.

Restaurant Ravintola Alamaja
The people from KOLI Activ Oy and their restaurant Alamaja are the kindest people we have met in a long time. Service- minded, kind & genuine. A great place with greater people. The restaurant serves amazing food. Mika & Kata and their staff make sure to organise anything active possible in the national park of KOLI . Kids are more than welcome at this place. Can recommend this gem to anyone who visits Karelia, Finland.
