Fabulous Atmosphere, Go Team New Zealand!
Always a buzzy place to visit, but totally fabulous with the America's Cup vibe and activities underway. There was a huge contingent of volunteer ambassadors enhancing the experience, welcoming visitors, interacting and promoting the city and the cup. It was such a great atmosphere. We spent many hours exploring, bar hopping and watching the contenders embark and return from their practice sails. It can be a cool breeze on the waterfront as I discovered, so it is worth having something warm stashed.

So much to do
There is so much to do here and with the America’s cup plans there is a lot of building happening around the harbour. We found lots of trendy places to eat and have a drink with friends. It was equally lovely to just walk around and see the very expensive boats and yachts in the harbour.
