A Soaring Success!

My cousin and I visited Rotorua from Sydney, Australia and went on the Original Canopy Tour with guides Kaitlin and Nicky. Our group was an eclectic bunch of Kiwi locals and tourists and the half-day was filled with interesting facts, wonderful views, and some good laughs. Kaitlin and Nicky were superb guides — Kaitlin was super energetic, and kept us laughing the entire time (while also ensuring we were safe & educated on the forest’s conservation efforts). Nicky was very informative and shared some interesting stories about the bird life, including about little Timmy! They perfectly complimented each other’s style & made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time! We will definitely be back for round 2 next time we’re in NZ!

A Bucket List Recommendation ?
The entire experience was 1st class! :) The ancient forest scenery was utterly breathtaking. Don't be put off doing this if its raining, because the trees came alive and the scent of the forest floor and rush of the river below only heightens the experience. The Canapy Tours staff were all extremely entertaining and genuine and, at the same time were professional, informative and always put the health and safety of their clients first and foremost. I clearly need to brush up my knowledge of NZ birds and tree identification - I learn't a lot in the 3 hours I was there. I was urged to add this to my Rotorua itinerary by an adventurous member of my family. So glad I did and 100% recommend this as an addition to your Bucket List.

Zip lining fun!
The ultimate experience was a blast, great company and great staff doing really good stuff in the NZ jungle. Emz and Alex were the absolute best and this experience comes highly recommended and is well worth the price part of which goes to preserving the beautiful forests that they take you to play in. An absolute must do in my opinion. 5 stars all the way!
