Fabulous Boat Trip
We really wanted to take a boat trip on Lake Taupo, & as we were only there for one night we were really lucky to have booked one. Fabulous crew, who served coffee, wine or bottled beer along with pizza (including veggie pizza) The girl driving the boat was amazing, as we were told the lake was a little choppy that evening. She took us as near to Maoui Carvings as she was able, due to the Lake being choppy. All in all a wonderful lake with beautiful views.

Beautiful lake
Cannot miss seeing the lake when you visit Taupo. One of the best moments for me is seeing the sunset over the lake. It changes depending on the weather, but it is an extraordinary feature. There is a lovely walkway and cycle way beside the lake which gives you an excellent opportunity to enjoy the lake.

Amazing lake with great views.
An amazing view with amazing bays and beaches dotted around. There is a bike/walk around the lake with beautiful bays on the way. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Taupō or nearby areas for a fun family trip or people looking for beautiful views and a nice spot to bike/walk.
