    Wow!!!Stunning
I visited this place as within 10km from Taupo and as I had been restricted whilst spending my holiday here not being able to visit places during lockdown. Our bubble drove the short distance and parked up and had a 20 min walk along the track to as near as was possible up to closed off area. Had a beautiful view of the Falls. Could not believe the colour of the water. Beautiful. The Waikato river starts at Lake Taupo and the Falls are part way down. Glad I didn't miss them.tracks used by bikers, hikers and walkers. My grandson is 3 and he coped quite well but will need adult assistance at times as there are sheer drops as you walk down.

    Mesmerizing, stunningly majestic
Huka Falls: Mesmerizing, by forces of nature – deep narrow chasm, water churning then shoots out - stunningly majestic. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.) Huka Falls river cruises picture-perfect, HukaFall jets are sometimes seen zooming across; there are walking/cycling trails as well. Thunderous roar before you get to the falls, easy car parking everytime we visit; we will be back.
