Nice public pool with several swimmingpools
The pool has a pool with waves, a big slide, steamcabins and hot whirlpools. There is an official gamepool, an outdoor pool and a therapy pool. Great for an actieve day out with the kids. Easily reached by public transport from Amsterdam, tram 51 ‘sportlaan’ stop. There is an animation team in vacations.

Excellent swimming centre that offers swimming activities for all ages and levels
Excellent swimming centre that offers different pools and a lot of different swimming activities for all ages and all levels. They have multiple indoor and an outdoor pool, which opens end of april. Every morning from 7.00 till 9.00 they offer swimlaps, on other times (please check their schedule) there is recreational free swimming. They offer aquarobics, aquafitness. For children there are swimming classes. They also give swimming classes to school children. For babies and their parents there are baby swimming classes in a warmer pool. There is a big fun pool with a huge slide. All staff are well trained, very friendly and helpful. They create a nice relaxed atmosphere, keeping an eye at all times, so it’s a very safe environment. Changing rooms, showers and bathrooms are very clean, they are cleaned multiple times during the day so it’s very hygienic. They take covid precautions very seriously according to government rules. There is plenty of parking space in the parking lot which is shared with the adjacent fitness centre.

Swimming lessons
My daughters take swimming lessons here once a week. The instructors are amazing, as they build confidence in the children, and the lessons overall are so well-structured. It was definitely the right decision to select Meerkamp for swimming lessons.
