Nice selection of restaurants

The building is dated (70s looking) but the selection of places to eat inside is excellent. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

    A Small Shopping Center
    It is a small shopping center in the Amstelveen. It is more voor people from that area. Two supermarkets, restaurants, a thrift store, drugstore, ice cream saloon, japanese shop, a bakery and some more shops. I love the bright colourful roof. it gives you a good feeling. I used to come to this place very often when I was still a student. It is not a place to visit for a tourist except when your hotel is just a block away from here ( there are 3 hotels, btw ) and want to buy Dutch delicacy to bring it home. Nowadays I visit this place only for the haircut and the pet shop. The parking area, at one side needs to pay and the other side is free. At the corner of this complex there is a very cheap gasstation.

    Cute little shopping mall
    Located right next to an Albert Heijn this little mall aims at value added shopping like a ln asian mini market, a few restaurants, a popular deli, Gijs, and a tobacco/press shop. Good for grabbing a quick bite. Visited the Japanese restaurant and the Japanese take away, I Se Ya. I haven't been disappointed yet.
