From Estate to a Recreation Area
It was used to be estates, Bosbeek - Groenendal long time ago. The part of Groenendal is open for public as a walking area or recreation area. It's quite big and green. There are different walking routes such as red, yellow, blue, Cultural-historical and countryside path. The yellow one is also for unleash dog. So be carreful when you take this shortest route (1,5 km) as you can step on dog poo. There is also a monument of 1940-1945 and a jewish monument. A small windmill by the entrance is only for decoration.
