Van Zanten Hal, North Holland Province, The Netherlands

Little polder village, not mch of a tourist spot
Came to have a look at the village, seems like a nice place to live, lots of playgrounds and dedicated cycle and walking paths. Centre seems a bit lacking in buzz, so not sure I'd consider it much of a place to especially visit as a tourisr

Nice small centre
Very pleasant small place with good local shops and places to eat . We often stay when visiting our daughter who lives here . Very handy for visits to Amsterdam , Utrecht , Rotterdam and other towns all within an hours drive. About 3 or 4 hours drive to/from ferry port at Dunkirk which is our preferred route by car.

Great location to stay in
We have used the “village” many times when visiting the area on business. It’s a great location for Aalsmeer, Haarlem & the Airport. The De Rustende Jager is a good hotel and well located, offering free overnight parking. We have use it many times. There’s good shopping with all the usual shops you would want in case you forget to pack something. There is a wide range of eating and drinking places, all centrally located. Would certainly return
