We wanted to rent a whisper boat for a semi-blustery day, knowing we were taking a change with the weather. Twiske Haven looked kind of quiet, so we headed for the office where a St. Bernard stuck his head out the door. The staff checked the weather, said the waves might be too rough for the boat motors to overcome, leaving the decision up to us. We elected to hike around the area on a trail she suggested instead. I wish we would have been able to boat around the area, however I especially appreciate the hospitality and assistance Twiske Haven gave to us on a rainy, blustery day.
