Lovely visit

Beautiful tulip fields with many different varieties. Great to walk through and take pictures without the fear of getting in trouble from a farmer! Lovely staff and location was easy to find. The cherry on top was the option to pick your own tulips to take home with you. I will be visiting again next year.

    Enjoyed the Tulips Festival from the hotel's balcony
    I didn't get on this tour. I was lucky to have my husband come to an astrophysics conference and get a room with the wire towards the see. This way we were able to see the festival, without freezing outside ( it was really cold). I considered myself lucky to be there for the festival, since I didn't plan for it.

    Best value in the private tulip tour space. Also got to see windmills
    I was one of the early supporters of Mike and his new business. I was a completely private client and it was a fraction of the price of a lot of competition. He has an insane amount of knowledge about the tulip farming process because he does it for a living. You get to see way more than you would on other trips or at Keukenhof (which is something to experience but just separately). I love that I was able to see the windmills and go inside two of them and buy some Dutch pancake mix from one. My tour was about 6.5 hours so it is definitely an all day activity but I was able to go to Keukenhof after until it closed. I suggest staying in and around Lisse if you're just interested in the tulips rather than the big cities. You can pay with PayPal through his website, which is convenient and gives some protection. You should do this in April or at the peak of the year's tulip season so do your research. I felt immersed in tulips and it is a once in a lifetime experience I will not forget. I'd use Mike again for certain.
