Heerlijk familie strand
Nice beach with a lot of families visiting. Not accessible by car you either take a bike or walk from the parkinglot (crowdy in summer). There are restaurants (not to trendy) a shower and toilets. Always a lot of kids around, good atmosphere.

Don't go there, we want to keep it for ourself.
Nice beach, only reachable by bike or by foot. It is a 4 km walk through beautiful terrain, (dunes, woodlands, etc) to reach the beach from the nearest road. Free parking, and after the walk you will find one of the best beaches of North Holland, also nice "beach restaurant" open in season only, from 1 April till end of Sept.

Perfect evening walk
A healthy trip through the dunes takes you right up to this beautiful beach. From Stayokay Heemskerk, which is where I was staying, it took us about 3 hours there and back (though we stayed at the beach for some time as well, so I can't be too sure about this one). We visited this beach as the evening fell, and it was a truly peaceful walk through nature. A wonderful opportunity to spot some birds or simply enjoy the smell of the forest around you.
