Fabulous white sandy beach

This fabulous wide sandy beach was virtually deserted when we visited at the end of August, the sea is shallow, so perfect for paddling and swimming. We didn't notice any lifeguards, but that may be because we were there at the end of the season. There are 2 restaurants with toilets for a nominal charge. We visited the 1st one on the slipway down to the beach and tried to place an order at the side window, but the 3 lads in the kitchen were busy eating their fries and ignored us so we left, so can't comment on their food. There is plenty of parking for bicycles, but cars must park by the road, a good 10 minute walk away, although there is a regular shuttle bus for 1 euro per person if you have lots of luggage or mobility difficulties.

Nice and mostly calmer beach then elsewhere.
Dutch below. Nice and calm beach. This beach is mostly calmer then any other place near the coast. Several places for something to eat or drink. "Baywatch" is closeby. Leuk en rustig strand met verschillende strandtenten op loopafstand. Reddingsbrigade tussen de 2 strandtenten in.

    Beautiful
It is a broad sand beach. We were there just after Dutch summer break when it was quite hot but it was not busy at all. There are two beach restaurants close to each other. In front of the south restaurant there are little waves when the water is low, so it is really good for little children. Beach is clean and there are lifeguards on patrol. If you come by care you either have to walk the 15 minutes to the beach through the dunes, or take the shuttle bus for 1 euro in summer. You can ride a bike up to the beach, there is a large bike parking space at the top of the dune. Do recommend, Will not go back but thats just because I like to spend each holiday in a different place.
