Stunning!
Every visit to the Rijksmuseum is delightful. The artwork is endlessly facinating, particularly the Rembrandts. Whereas some smaller museums in Amsterdam limit visiters due to space restrictions, the Rijksmuseum is so large that this is rarely necessary. This is of course a wonderful choice on a day with bad weather! The giftshop should not be missed.

A Museum in an Airport?
If transiting through Schiphol and have some time to kill, then do visit this nice sliver of Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. Exhibits were nicely done in a quiet, intimate setting. I'm really impressed by this initiative to have a museum right within the airport; way to go Schiphol; Also don't miss the science exhibits just outside

Free art museum gallery in Amsterdam's Schipol
Several hours to kill in Amsterdam's Schipol airport between flights so thought i'd visit the Rijksmuseum Schiphol, since its reopened post Covid. Free art museum gallery, with approx 10 old Dutch masters oil paintings. Nice glass building the paintings are housed in with small gift shop. Nice quiet way to spend 30 minutes between flights. Easy to find.
