Excellent and Welcoming Library and Restaurant
This feast is located a short walk from the Centraal Station and is not to be missed. Each floor is bright and is a delight to see and learn from. The children's section on the ground floor is out-of-this-world..and the restaurant on the top floor not only offers fresh and delicious food, but also a worth while view of the city. Don't miss any of this.

Great views for free of Amsterdam
If you are looking for good views of the city and don't want to go across the river, then here is your place. The library itself is gorgeous, but the views are great as well. There is also a little cafeteria like place upstairs as well for a quick bite.

great public service, get lost in the books
public library is great to go to with young kids. You can find tons of books here but also discover many fun things to do in your town. The kids tend to want to play but they have to stay quiet of course. Nowadays they also have computers for the kids to discover and play with.
