WOW!
We try and visit the libraries of places we visit on vacation. The OBA is clean, bright, open. We were impressed with the amount of people utilizing the library~young mom's with storytellers, college students and work groups. The restaurant on the top floor looked delicious, unfortuently, we were not hungry. The OBA is worth a visit while in Amsterdam. 10 minutes from the Central Station/boat docks.

Beautiful library with a great view of the city!
If you're interested in architecture, great city views, or if you're simply a lover of libraries, you *must* visit this site. Efficiently and spaciously organized with an inviting cafe/pub on the 6th floor from which you can look out over the harbor and the city beyond. Definitely worth your time, located at a relatively short walk from the Centraal Station.

Tourists must see after dinner at Sea Palace
If you just have enjoyed dinner at the famous Sea Palace, then walk 100 m you will find OBA. We saw a small photo exbi about Ukraine and another photo exbi about asian rooted people in Amsterdam. Nice place to relax little bit and use clean public toilet for tourists.
