Fantastic Nature Reserve with Dunes, Birds and Big Grass Eaters
The National Park Zuid-Kennemerland is the dune area between Zandvoort and IJmuiden. Accessible from a.o. Overveen and Bloemendaal. Very rich forest and dune landscape, full of birds and also big grass eating animals such as wild cows and horses. There is a fantastic bird lake including an observation lodge. At the beach, there is bicycle parking and at least one restaurant (Parnassia).

Blauwe route
Lovely walk through beautiful nature. alternately through the woods, dunes and sea. Coffee to go at beach bar Parnassia. The blue route is about a 10 km walk

Varying landscape, busy with visitors
The landscape is very varying. There's patches of woodland, sand dunes, little lakes, wetlands. Then there's a lot of wild animals, several different breeds of birds, wild horses, rabbits, cows... I recommend the bird watch hut at the "Vogelmeer".
